| Archipel is a tool to manage media and content
in a very dynamic way. It allows the user to explore media and access to
different media types such as texts, photographs, images and sounds. Archipel represents a new way for organizing favourite files on the internet or on a hard disk. It can be used also as a special sort of operating system or as a program guide for interactive televison giving users special insights and a new feeling of exploration. This attractively designed multimedia tool uses the metaphor of islands and archipels to organize different information topics. Approach an island in a special 3D helicopter. See the objects coming closer and closer, growing larger and larger. Now it’s your decision whether you would like to walk in an sound forest or enter the picture field. A dynamic interface in multiple media makes Archipel an extremely attractive tool for exploring media files in an absolutely new and self-eplanatory way. Archipel generates a real sense of exploration.
