Most of the time, reading a story or playing an adventure is about exploring new and exciting places. This experience is limited because it's not actually related to changes in physical locations. "The Journey" is a true location based mobile adventure game. It links the movement of the player in the real world with places in a virtual detective story.

In the role of a detective, the player has to solve a criminal case posed by a sinister stranger. During the course of the investigation, people in different places have to be questioned. When you begin the game in a detective bureau, you have to physically walk some hundred metres away to find the virtual bar and meet your informer.

This game steps into an era of mobile games that do not only copy well-known concepts from the PC world, but use the unique abilities of mobile phones to create interactive experiences. Through the combination of game and location detection, a mobile dimension of play is possible.
