"DVD-MAXI Edelweiss Müller Juicy Panic"
revolves around the duet Juicy Panic and their sonic clash of
electronica, synthesizers, toys and the child-like voice of
the Japanese musician, Mami Chan. The Juicy Panic world is located
between Japan and Montana in the American Mid-West, composed
of a Japanese garden and a panoramic scene of forests, lakes
and mountains. Objects are disproportionately sized - a plastic
duck can be the same size as a mountain. Unexpected animations
appear from quiet, static backgrounds. The Edelweiss Müller
interactive area allows the users to immerse themselves in Juicy
Panic's musical universe, thanks to a music video, entertaining
games, animations, band information, a newsletter and clips
from live shows. Norman Bambi uses visual graphics to display
his original diary, based on the theme of "Things that happen
everyday", Mami Chan teaches useless Japanese words using a
repetitive visual method. In the kitsch interactive karaoke
section, users will have to sing into a microphone in order
to change the animation. The story's conclusion depends on the
user's singing. In the "stylobulle" section, one can play with
music, create different versions and relax while travelling
from Montana to Tokyo in a floating tourist pen. Finally, an
interactive interview based on personality tests, allows the
user to test which member of the band they most look like: Mami
Chan, Norman Bambi or a donkey. |
