"The Web Is A Living Organism" is a net-art installation that compares the relationship between Internet users, information and the Internet itself with the relationship between blood cells, oxygen and the body.

Participants are able to look at the Internet in a new and original way by considering the metaphor of the Internet as an actual living, growing organism made out of information blocks of web pages, e-mails, raw data, or search results.

"The Web Is A Living Organism" blends physical and virtual space. Participants can engage in "conversations" by submitting search requests and exploring the outcome of this interaction. The resulting conversation, which could lead in any direction, allows the users to ponder the issue of symbiotic relationship and how information unites people together.
