From East to West: Israel, Austria, Germany, and the UK dominate the awards!
The 10th EUROPRIX Top Talent Awards will be contested by an incredibly exciting group of 21 producers who have earned the distinction of being the finest e-content producers in Europe this year. Representing ten countries, the nominee list is dominated this year by the UK (3), Germany (3), Austria (4) and Israel (3).
12 independent jurors debated the technical and creative merits of each project and found that the depth of talent in the nominee list is brilliant and inspired. Young producers are increasingly capable of overcoming the restrictions of small budgets, geography and technical boundaries.

Multimedia and e-content trend - what does it mean for academia?
The 5th EADIM Academic Network Conference will take place
from November 23-24, 2007 in Graz in parallel to the EUROPRIX Multimedia
Top Talent Festival.
The conference focuses on developments in teaching and learning the best
use of the new technologies. Invited are instructors in interactive media,
art and design schools, professors from technical universities and ICT
teachers from the applied sciences.
The project analyzes current trends in the industry and markets, new developments in demands from students and effects of teaching practices covering the following topics:
1. Smart Interfaces – intuitive use of augmented and
mixed realities
2. Mobile Paradigm for content development
3. Teaching Interactive Story Authoring
4. Mega trends in e-content – what do they mean for education?
5. How does academia ensure that graduates leaving education match industry
expectations?
